Dr. Kallie Doucette, ND (MSCP) is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) and naturopathic doctor with a special interest in perimenopause and menopause care, including early menopause, Primary Ovarian Insufficiency (POI), osteoporosis, and the cardiovascular and metabolic changes that often arise at midlife, including weight gain, high cholesterol, and elevated blood pressure. She completed a year-long menopause fellowship focused on managing complex hormone and midlife cases and integrates both naturopathic and conventional approaches — including menopause hormone therapy (MHT – previously called hormone replacement therapy or bioidentical hormones) — to help women feel well and confident through every stage of hormonal change.

Kallie’s passion for women’s health began in her teens, after years of navigating irregular and painful periods, which inspired her to understand how hormones influence every aspect of women’s health. She now supports women with hormonal concerns such as PMS, PMDD, PCOS, heavy periods, endometriosis, fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and thyroid health. Her care emphasizes meaningful changes that are practical, sustainable, and effective in everyday life.

Kallie is known for her collaborative and integrative approach. She often works alongside family physicians and gynecologists, helping patients bridge both conventional and naturopathic perspectives. She values having the time to explain lab results, clarify treatment options, and focus on the lifestyle pieces that make treatment plans more effective. Her goal is always to help patients feel informed, empowered, and supported in their care.

As a mother herself, Kallie understands how challenging it can be to maintain personal health amid full schedules and limited time. Her care helps women reconnect with themselves, prioritize their own well-being, and rebuild confidence in how they feel — so they can live a life that feels joyful and aligned.

Kallie also provides care for men and children, reflecting her belief in supporting the health of the whole family. She completed her Doctor of Naturopathy degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she trained in a pediatric-focused clinical rotation and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from St. Francis Xavier University.

She offers virtual care for patients across the East Kootenays and throughout British Columbia, and provides in-person care in the East Kootenays, serving the Elk Valley and the communities of Sparwood, Fernie, and Elkford. Many patients also travel from nearby Crowsnest Pass, Alberta, to access her care for menopause, perimenopause, and women’s health.

When she’s not in practice, she’s outside exploring the mountains with her family. Originally from Prince Edward Island, she brings a touch of Maritime warmth — and the occasional accent — to every patient conversation.

She is a member of the Menopause Society, the BC Naturopathic Doctors Association, and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and is registered with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of British Columbia.
